African Writers' Bureau- launching writing courses
The vision to create a platform to train and develop African writers has been an agenda for a long time. I am happy to announce to you that, such a vision is about to be realised now. You have a part to play. We have launched a platform to create our courses. The courses have already been created and are being uploaded. We are sure that by the end of February, we will be able to start at least one course. We will first introduce our poetry course. In the next few months, we will roll out more courses. The courses on the cards include: Creative writing - poetry and prose Theatre arts and film making- writing for films Article writing Academic writing training Writing for the web The courses are designed and conducted by experienced writers. For us to roll out the courses, we will need people ready to embark on them. You can help by spreading the word now. We are also looking for representatives in various countries.
